Service
Japanese Games,
For Global Markets.
From publishing and localization to sales strategy and marketing, we design a global approach for every title—grounded in the game’s strengths and the developer’s vision.
About Our Business
For Every Game,
We Find the Right Market
and the Right Way to Reach It.
NGJ Corporation is a game publisher bringing Japanese indie games to the global market.
We provide publishing, localization, sales strategy, and marketing support to bring compelling Japanese games to Nintendo, PlayStation, Steam, and other storefronts around the world.
We do more than list games on overseas stores. We identify the regions and audiences each title should reach, then build a publishing strategy around its unique appeal and the developer’s vision.
Depending on the title and its development status, we consider flexible arrangements including publishing, co-development, overseas distribution support, and sales representation. NGJ may also share localization, porting, promotion, and event costs depending on the agreement.
Online meetings are welcome, and when useful we also visit developers in person to deepen our understanding of their work. We meet teams throughout Japan and at game events, working together to find the best way to bring each game to international audiences.

Workflow
How We Work
From understanding the game to long-term support after launch, our process adapts to the needs of each title.
Initial Consultation
We begin by learning about the game, its development status, target regions, and sales goals. Through online or in-person meetings, we discuss its appeal, background, and future vision while exploring its international potential.
Title Analysis & Strategy
We review genre, audience, visuals, gameplay, platforms, territories, and competing titles to determine the best markets and positioning. We clarify the title’s strengths and how to communicate them to players overseas.
Agreement & Business Terms
We consider publishing, co-development, overseas distribution, sales representation, and other structures appropriate to the title. Where suitable, terms may include NGJ sharing localization, porting, PR, or event costs.
Markets & Platforms
We select appropriate platforms and territories, including Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation, and Steam, based on each store’s audience, release timing, and promotional opportunities.
Localization, LQA & Porting
We localize beyond literal translation, considering cultural context and the player experience. When needed, we also provide LQA, console porting, display checks, and functional verification for each region and platform.
Store Setup & Submission
We prepare store descriptions, key art, trailers, screenshots, ratings, and submission materials, and help create store pages that clearly communicate each title’s appeal.
Marketing & Promotion
We plan and execute promotion tailored to each title, including Steam events, social campaigns, media outreach, and game events in Japan and overseas.
Launch
We complete final platform checks and coordinate store publication, announcements, social posts, and media outreach to maximize launch visibility and early momentum.
Long-Term Growth
After launch, we monitor sales and player response while continuing promotion through collaborations, exhibitions, live events, social campaigns, Steam events, overseas events, and media relations.
